Introducing Collections: A New Way to Experience CSR2

A brand-new feature has arrived in CSR2—Collections, players can explore, acquire, and master some of the most iconic cars in the world. These cars are carefully grouped into various "Collections" each based on a common theme, providing a fresh way to experience car culture.

Unlocking and Progressing in Collections

Collections is unlocked at level 60. As players progress through Collections, they’ll complete tasks that bring them closer to owning and mastering top-tier cars while unlocking fantastic rewards along the way. The Collections hub serves as the central place where players can view their progress, check out unlocked Collections, and see what's next.

Collections are split by rarity into three tiers:

• Uncommon (Green)

• Rare (Blue)

• Epic (Purple)

Each Collection’s rarity depends on how aspirational the cars are, how difficult they are to acquire, and the rewards tied to them.

How to Unlock New Collections

Some Collections may be locked or grayed out when you start. You can unlock them by either:

1. Reaching a required Collection Rank, or

2. Acquiring any car from that Collection.

Once unlocked, all the cars in the Collection can be acquired using the newly introduced Car Credits.

What Are Car Credits?

Car Credits are the new in-game currency for purchasing cars within Collections. Players can earn Car Credits by participating in events such as Collections Cups or Showdowns, or through in-app purchases. With this currency, players can deterministically acquire cars without waiting for specific events.

Ranking Up and Rewards

To progress in Collections, players must gain Collections XP. Completing tasks with each car earns XP and helps players rank up. The two key tasks are:

1. The Rookie Task – Acquire and lock the car into the Collection.

2. The Veteran Task – Perform certain tasks with the car to unlock additional rewards.

Completing the Veteran Task gives players a permanent RP (Respect Points) boost for that car. Each time players rank up, they receive rewards such as Keys, Cash, Gold, or more Car Credits. Additionally, Collections Perks offer permanent bonuses to make future progress easier.

Completing a Collection

A Collection is considered complete when players have acquired all the cars and finished all Veteran Tasks. As a reward, players receive an exclusive sticker for their profile, a mark of achievement for completing an entire Collection.

Why was this Feature Introduced

The Collections feature was developed in response to feedback from players who wanted a more accessible way to collect cars without waiting for them to appear in specific events. The goal was to offer a deeper sense of progression, celebrating the achievement of building large, impressive Collections.
